daa International
daa International is a subsidiary of Irish airport operator daa, which provides its clients and partners with access to a full range of airport management, operational, training and advisory services. These services are delivered by its team of highly experienced airport professionals. daa International operates the 106,500 sq metre domestic Terminal 5 at Saudi Arabia's King Khaled International Airport (KKIA) in Riyadh, which has a capacity of up to 12 million passengers per year. The contract comprises all terminal management services, including responsibility for managing all third-party commercial tenants, airport retail and car rental within the terminal complex. daa International also won a major contract in 2022 to support operations at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
Aer Rianta International
Aer Rianta International (ARI) has been at the forefront of travel retail for over 70 years. ARI designs, manages and operates duty free and duty paid airport retail outlets in 11 countries worldwide across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Australasia and the Americas. Its stores employ more than 3,500 people globally. ARI is the only global travel retailer that also operates airports through its parent company daa (Dublin Airport Authority). In the Middle East, ARI is the largest international duty free operator in the region with business interests in Bahrain, Qatar, Beirut and Muscat. ARI has strong connections in Saudi Arabia through daa International, which operates Terminal 5 at KKIA in Riyadh.
Jones Engineering Group
Originally founded in Ireland in 1890, Jones Engineering Group is a leading International Engineering Contracting Group of companies providing mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, fire protection and maintenance solutions to world-class clients. The Group currently employes 2,500 people, with an excess turnover of €400m per annum. Jones Engineering Group has considerable experience of working in the Kingdom. In the 80s, they worked on projects in Dahran, Riyadh and Al Kharj and more recently, formed Jones Engineering Saudi Arabia with offices located in Riyadh and Jeddah. Al-Marai
Almarai (in Arabic, “The Pasture”) was established in Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1977 as a partnership between the Irish agri-foods pioneer Alastair McGuckian, his brother Paddy and Prince Sultan bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabeer. Today, Almarai is the largest vertically integrated dairy company in the world.
